History Fem 2 Fem

Fem 2 Fem was a five-piece of gay and bi women that thrilled the indie dance scene.

They were virtually unknown outside a stunning Playboy pictorial, since radio ignored them and MTV banned their steamy videos. The debut album was calculated to appeal to both "out" lesbians and heterosexual males, containing anthems of pride and belonging, but also kinky lyrical imagery and sexy photos. Some of the tracks are quite listenable for dance.

The group consisted of Lynn Pompey, Julie Park, Lezlie Deane, Jennifer Wolf and Michelle Crispin.

Peter Rafelson produced their first two albums, Woman To Woman (1993) and Animus (1994) for his record label called Ave.
