History Rhinoceros Beetle

Rhinoceros Beetle (RB) is an American electronic indie band, formed by members Jules ffern and v3G, in 2010. The band spent the year, immersed in the studio writing, composing, programming, recording, and practicing.

RB’s original programming carves out their distinctive style using digital sound environments, powerful vocal expressions, layered electronic compositions and danceable beats. Their common interest in technology, science, nature, art, music and abstract philosophies laid the groundwork for their creative projects.

December 10, 2010, Rhino Beetle released their first CD titled Horse Pact EP and on January 9, 2011, they introduced their first live set to the JB Warehouse in Valparaiso, Indiana. A first year band highlight was on September 17, 2011 when Rhinoceros Beetle was selected by the patrons of ORANJE 2011 as Best In Show Music Act. "CONGRATULATIONS! December 14, 2011, Rhinoceros Beetle's published their second album, RB Sides. The tracks unveil a wide variety of styles and compositions from the birth of the band. The 11 free song downloads pack a little something for everyone from electro-punk, live electronics, video-gaming, dance and digital metalcore, to a love song. The songs were recorded from 2010 to 2011 and some tracks are before the conception of Rhinoceros Beetle.
