Biography

Arik Einstein (born January 3, 1939) is a singer, songwriter and an Israeli actor. He was a member of the Nahal bands Green Onion, Yarkon Trio, Tall Windows and A Bunch of Coop. His collaboration with Shalom Hanoch and Churchills band produced the first rock albums in Israel.

Among his famous songs, they also wrote the words: "Me and You", "Why should I take to heart", "Slow Down", "sitting on the fence", "like being at home", "my mother" and "Get a baby", "what about me", "Fragile", "time", "San Francisco on the water", "post-war song" and more.
