History Butch Engle & The Styx

Butch Engle & the Styx were a 1960s Garage/Psychedelic group. Formed in the San Francisco Bay area in 1964 as The Showmen, they released one single under that name. then two more as Butch Engle & the Styx they broke up in 1968.

The members were

Butch Engle (vocals)

Bob Zamora (lead guitar)

Mike Pardee (organ)

Harry "Happiness" Smith (bass)

Rich Morrison (drums)
