History Ancestor

There are a couple of "Ancestor's", notably:

- ANCESTOR, a technical hardcore / metal band from the Ambler area of Pennsylvania.

A free 4-song EP was made available 8/30/09 and can be downloaded from www.myspace.com/ancestor (check blog for link) and www.weareancestor.wordpress.com. Tracks are also available here on last.fm.

Other releases: 5-song "Koalacaust" debut EP (available at www.ancestor.bigcartel.com), "Sweet Ink, Brah" was featured on a free digital compilation released via No Sleep Records.

- AncestoR, a power metal band from Venezuela. www.myspace.com/ancestorband

- Ancestor, a heavy metal band from the United Kingdom. www.myspace.com/bandancestor

- Ancestor, a death metal band from the United States. www.myspace.com/ancestormetal

- Ancestor, a death metal band that was formed by members of Kalmah, before forming Kalmah.

These are not to be confused with Norwegian Black Metal band Antestor. Notice that their name is not "Ancestor".
