Biography Lou Gare
Lou Gare (Leslie Arthur Gare, 16 June 1939 – 6 October 2017) was an English free-jazz saxophonist born in Rugby, Warwickshire, perhaps best known for his works with the improvised music ensemble AMM and playing with musicians such as Eddie Prévost, Mike Westbrook, Cornelius Cardew, Keith Rowe and Sam Richards. As a member of Synchronicity (Richards, David Stanley, Sarah Frances) from the 1990s through to 2002 he played throughout the Southwest and toured the Czech Republic.
