History
Sudden Sway still exist (apparently). Their spirit lives on through electronic bands with a sense of fun and mystery who probably have never heard of them. The 1986 classic album "Spacemate" came packaged preposterously as a double album in a box containing a game called Spacemate - game board, pieces and all - and four sides of blissful electronic experimentation (but poppy) entitled Past, Present, Future and Somewhere Else. They had a real sense of mischief - signed to Warners (Blanco Y Negro) they made their debut release a single available in 8 different versions on 7" including mixes by the producer of Bucks Fizz and Adrian Sherwood. SingSong was not a hit.
