Genji Siraisi's solo work is mainly electronic but varies from beat driven to ambient and covers a wide range of styles (most of which is not represented here) in the vein of Prefuse 73, Daedelus, Amon Tobin, Four Tet, Fat Boy Slim, Air, Daft Punk, Kieran Hebden, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Flaming Lips, Eliot Lipp, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Röyksopp, Sigur Ros, Ting Tings, Plaid, Autechre, Jann Tiersen, Matmos, Squarepusher, Bjork, Beck, Radiohead, MGMT...

He is a Brooklyn native and founding member of the NYC band Groove Collective whose 2007 album "People People Music Music" was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.
