Westlife

Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed on July 3, 1998. The original lineup featured Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Markus Feehily, Shane Filan, and Brian McFadden, who departed in 2004. The group holds a unique distinction in UK chart history, being the only act to have their first seven singles debut at Number 1. To date, they have sold over 45 million records globally.

Under the management of Louis Walsh and signed by Simon Cowell, Westlife achieved significant commercial success. In 2008, they were recognized among the Republic of Ireland's wealthiest celebrities under 30 and ranked 13th overall. The group amassed 14 number-one singles in the United Kingdom, placing them third in UK history for most number-one singles, tied with Cliff Richard and behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Westlife also holds records for "Music artist with most consecutive number 1's in the UK" and "Biggest selling arena act in the Wembley Arena."
