History

Ronan Keating, born March 3, 1977, in Swords, Dublin, Republic of Ireland, is an accomplished Irish recording artist, singer-songwriter, musician, and philanthropist. He first entered the professional music scene in 1994 as the lead singer of the popular boy band Boyzone, alongside Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch, and Stephen Gately.

Keating launched his solo career in 1999, which has since produced nine studio albums. He achieved international recognition with his single "When You Say Nothing at All," featured in the film Notting Hill, which topped the charts in multiple countries. As a solo artist, Keating has sold over 22 million records globally.

In addition to his solo work, Keating's combined record sales with Boyzone exceed 40 million worldwide. In Australia, he is also widely recognized for his role as a judge on The X Factor. Beyond his music career, Keating is a dedicated charity campaigner, most notably for the Marie Keating Foundation. This foundation, established in memory of his mother who passed away from breast cancer, works to raise awareness for the disease.
