Parker McCollum, born Parker Yancey McCollum in Conroe, Texas, on June 15, 1992, is an American country singer-songwriter. He is based in Texas and began his recording career in 2013 with the release of his first single and EP.
McCollum's debut album, The Limestone Kid, was released on February 24, 2015. The Austin Chronicle praised the album, awarding it 3.5 out of 5 stars and noting its potential as a debut of the year. The publication also drew comparisons between McCollum's music and that of Charlie Robison. To support the release, McCollum and his band embarked on a Texas tour in 2015, performing at various events, including the RedGorilla Music Fest.
