Fue formada en 1981 en Phoenix, Arizona, por Dan Wexler, Stephen Clifford y Tracy Wallach. Su fin como banda, fue en 1990.
Sacaron 4 excelentes trabajos: Icon (1984), Night of the Crime (1985), An Even More Perfect Union (1987) y Right Between the Eyes (1989), todos ellos excelentes.
