Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, widely known as Xzibit, was born on September 18, 1974. He has established himself as a prominent American rapper, actor, television presenter, radio personality, and record executive. His career in music commenced in 1992, leading to a record deal with Loud Records, an imprint of RCA Records. This partnership resulted in his debut studio album, At the Speed of Life, released in 1996. The album garnered positive reviews and achieved moderate success on the Billboard 200, featuring the notable single "Paparazzi," which reached number 83 on the Billboard Hot 100. His follow-up, 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz (1998), mirrored this reception and included the track "What U See Is What U Get."

Xzibit's growing commercial appeal caught the attention of acclaimed rapper and producer Dr. Dre. Dre subsequently served as the executive producer for Xzibit's next two albums. His third album, Restless (2000), marked a significant leap in commercial success, peaking at number twelve on the Billboard 200. Following his move from Loud Records to Columbia Records, Xzibit released his fourth album, Man vs. Machine (2002). This album achieved even greater success, reaching number three on the Billboard charts. Both Restless and Man vs. Machine were co-released through Xzibit's own label, Open Bar Entertainment. His subsequent releases include Weapons of Mass Destruction (2004) and Full Circle (2006). After a brief hiatus, he returned with his seventh studio album, Napalm, in 2012. Since 2013, Xzibit has also been a member of the hip-hop supergroup Serial Killers.
