SB19: A Philippine Pop Phenomenon
SB19 is a highly decorated five-member Filipino boy group that has achieved significant international recognition. Comprising members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, the group officially debuted in October 2018 with their single ‘Tilaluha.’ Their second release, ‘Go Up,’ marked a turning point, propelling them into wider popularity.
The name "SB19" itself signifies their ambition: "SB" stands for "Sound Break," reflecting their goal to disrupt the music industry and elevate Filipino music and culture onto the global stage. This aspiration has resonated with a dedicated fanbase known as A’TIN, who span across the world.
Global Milestones and Chart Success
SB19 has shattered barriers, becoming the first Southeast Asian and Filipino act to be nominated for a Billboard Music Award in the Top Social Artist category in 2021. They also made history as the first Filipino act to appear on the international Billboard Social 50 and Next Big Sound charts.
Their recent EP, "Simula at Wakas," released in 2025, further cemented their global presence. The lead single, "DAM," achieved remarkable success, reaching the IFPI top 20 in the Philippines, Middle East, and Hong Kong, and topping the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart in its debut week. Another track from the EP, "GENTO," also debuted strongly at #8 on the Billboard World Digital Sales Charts.
The group is self-managed by 1Z Entertainment, a company founded and operated by the members of SB19 themselves.
