Noah Kahan

Noah Kahan is an American singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and a sound that blends folk traditions with contemporary pop. Born on January 1, 1997, in Strafford, Vermont, Kahan began writing songs at the age of eight. He initially gained a following by uploading his music to SoundCloud, where his early work caught the attention of songwriters and industry professionals, including manager Drew Simmons and producer Dan Wilson.

In 2016, Kahan signed with Republic Records and began collaborating with producer Joel Little. His debut single, "Young Blood," arrived in January 2017, quickly garnering millions of streams and establishing his presence in the indie-pop scene. Later that year, he released "Hurt Somebody," which served as the lead single for his debut EP of the same name. A re-recorded version of the track featuring Julia Michaels was released in early 2018, further expanding his international reach and leading to his television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
