Charlotte Lawrence

Charlotte Lawrence has been steadily gaining momentum since the release of her debut EP, Young, in 2017, which garnered millions of streams. During 2020, the then 20-year-old artist dedicated time to introspection, honing her artistic identity, sound, and narrative. Speaking with infectious energy, she discusses her musical inspirations, life influences, personal challenges, and aspirations, conveying a clear sense of purpose and a desire to share her authentic self with the world.

Her EP, titled Charlotte, reflects this period of self-discovery. The six-track project is spearheaded by the single 'Talk You Down,' an engaging electronic pop song driven by percussion, which addresses her experiences with anxiety. The EP further delves into themes of fear and struggle within relationships on 'Sin x Secret,' feelings of disorientation on 'Cowboys,' profound heartbreak on 'Slow Motion,' the complexities of love on 'You,' and the dynamics of addiction and dependence on 'RX.'
