Raw Silk (Studio Group)
Raw Silk was a studio group formed by producer Ronald Dean Miller. They achieved a chart hit in the early 1980s with the single "Do It To The Music," released on the prominent New York record label West End Records. The ensemble included former Crown Heights Affair member Bert Reid, alongside three female vocalists: Jessica Cleaves, Sybil Thomas, and Tenita Jordan.
The group's follow-up single, "Just In Time," did not achieve the same level of success as their debut and marked Raw Silk's final release on West End Records.
