History

D*Minds

D*Minds, originally known as 'Distorted Minds', is a British drum and bass production and DJ duo comprising Jon Midwinter and Alistair Vickery. Over the past decade, the pair has achieved significant success with numerous hit records released on prominent labels.

Record Releases and Imprints

Their discography includes releases on labels such as True Playaz (featuring tracks like 'Mr Happy' / 'Super Drunk' with Hazard), Breakbeat Kaos ('T-10'), Formation ('Snuff Baby' / 'Warriors'), and Break Beat Kaos ('Give It To Me'). They also release music through their own label, D-Style Recordings, with notable tracks including 'Ouch', 'Revolution', and 'Searching'.

Remixes and Radio Play

D*Minds have also established a reputation for their remix work. Their remix of EZ Rollers' 'Crowd Rocker' gained widespread recognition and is frequently used as a sound bed on Zane Lowe's award-winning BBC Radio 1 show.

D-Style Recordings and Stereotype

In addition to their production and DJing careers, D*Minds founded their record label, D-Style Recordings, and its sister label, Stereotype, in the early 2000s. These imprints have featured releases from artists such as TC, Eddie K, MC Jakes, and The Force.

RUN Events

D*Minds are also the promoters of the monthly event called RUN, held at Motion Ramp Park in Bristol, UK. This event attracts thousands of attendees and is recognized by DJs globally.
