History

Koldborn

Koldborn is a Danish band known for their groovy and grinding death metal sound. The group's origins trace back to 1997, when drummer Rasmus and guitarist Heinz, both formerly of the band Icon Of Sin, established Koldborn.

Early Years and Debut Album

Following the solidification of their lineup, Koldborn recorded their demo, "Blessed By Beyond." This early work proved instrumental in securing the band a contract with the Danish label Diehard Music. Their debut album, titled "First Enslavement," was subsequently recorded in their own studio and produced by Jacob Bredahl.

Lineup Changes and "The Devil Of All Deals"

After the release of their debut, guitarist Heinz became a member of Hatesphere, a position he continues to hold. In 2004, Koldborn released the EP "The Devil Of All Deals." This release featured new vocalist Lars, whose powerful delivery and knack for catchy hooks were a notable addition to the band's sound.

"The Uncanny Valley" and Beyond

Following the EP, Koldborn began work on their full-length album, "The Uncanny Valley," which was released in October. The album is characterized by its extremely catchy, groovy, and brutal execution. "The Uncanny Valley" was also produced by Jacob Bredahl, this time at Smart N' Hard studios.
