Fly My Pretties

Fly My Pretties is a New Zealand musical collective known for its unique approach to recording: all albums are captured live in diverse and often unconventional locations across the country. This collaborative spirit, drawing from a wide array of musical backgrounds, results in a rich and eclectic sound across their releases.

The project was initiated in 2004 by Barnaby Weir, the frontman of The Black Seeds. Weir assembled a rotating ensemble of talented musicians, including Adi Dick, Age Pryor, Brendan Moran, Craig Terris, Daniel Weetman, Hollie Smith, Jarney Murphy, Lee Prebble, Luke Buda, Mailee Mathews, Mike Fabulous, Module, Nato, Ryan Prebble, Sam Flynn Scott, and Tessa Rain, each contributing their distinct skills in vocals, guitar, drums, percussion, keyboards, and bass.
