Q-Continuum
Q-Continuum is a funk-crossover band originating from Helsinki, Finland. The group emerged as a side project from the nu-soul ensemble Quintessence during the creation of Quintessence's debut album, Talk Less Listen More, in 2002.
Band Members and Collaborators
The core lineup of Q-Continuum features Tuomo Prättälä (also known as Organ Kane) on vocals and keyboards, Aki Haarala on guitars, Heikki Laine on bass, and Mikko Kaakkuriniemi on percussion. The project embraces a collective approach, frequently incorporating a diverse range of guest rappers, musicians, and singers into their recordings and live performances. Notable collaborators include singer Emma Salokoski and rappers Paleface, Tommy Lindgren, and Axl Smith.
