Kazuyuki Kishino, known professionally as KK Null, was born in Tokyo on September 13, 1961. He is a Japanese experimental multi-instrumentalist who has been active in music since the early 1980s. Initially a guitarist, Kishino expanded his musical repertoire to include composition, vocals, drumming, and electronic music creation. His artistic development also includes studies in Butoh dance, having attended workshops led by Min Tanaka.
KK Null joined the noise and progressive rock band YBO2 in 1984, contributing to several albums and EPs released during the latter half of the decade. Following his tenure with YBO2, he went on to found several other musical projects. These include Absolut Null Punkt (ANP) and the more widely recognized "progressive hardcore trio," Zeni Geva.
