Thy Grief Eternal was a musical project that underwent several name changes throughout its existence. Initially known as Lord of Putrefaction, the band later transitioned to the name Eternal following the departure of members Adam Richardson and James Evans. This iteration eventually evolved into the prominent doom metal band Electric Wizard.
