Last Dinosaurs is an Australian indie rock band formed in Brisbane in 2007. The current lineup features Sean Caskey (lead/backup vocals, rhythm/lead guitar), Lachlan Caskey (lead/backup vocals, lead/rhythm guitar), Danjuro Koyama (drums), and Michael Sloane (bass). Sean and Dan initially connected through their shared passion for music during high school. Lachlan and original bassist Sam Gethin-Jones later joined the group, with Michael Sloane replacing Gethin-Jones in 2013.
The band gained early recognition with their 2010 debut EP, Back from the Dead, and their critically acclaimed 2012 studio album, In a Million Years. Both releases were praised by Australian media, including Triple J. Last Dinosaurs is currently signed to Dew Process in Australia and Fiction Records in the UK, with international distribution handled by Universal Music Group.
